Ya'll asked a few questions and I thought I would answer:

So far - I have lost around 2 lbs in 3 weeks. Not stellar - not horrible. Considering it's too hot to exercise and I still eat sweets and I'm not really dieting........I'm pretty proud. I'm also proud to not drink as much coke.

And I've never been a big water drinker. I realize that is horrible but I just don't. I love sweet tea, lemonade, some juice and cokes. But no water. I knew I had to make a change and I thought this was a good place to start and to transition into more water drinking.

Anyway - this is less of a challenge and more of a life change for me. Drinking more water one way or another that is.

Good job!! That's 2 pounds less than you weighed before!! I tend to fluctuate the same 5 pounds. Ugh.

Currently, I'm drinking Crystal Light White Grape. It's yummy!

I am diet coke addict! Nothing quenches my thirst quite like it, and I love the "burn" of a cold DC first thing in the morning. ha! That sounds so crazy now that I've just read it. But after hearing about how well your taking to the Crystal Light, I thought I'd try it, so I just bought some tonight and I'm starting tomorrow!

I'm down to the last diet soda in the house and won't buy any more for three days. Hope that helps me drink more flavored or plain water. Haven't lost an ounce, so I'm applauding your 2 pounds.

yesterday i got crystal light fruit punch and pink lemonade... i haven't tried either yet but i'm excited too. lol. my hubby used to drink the peach tea, but when i bought the lemonade kind a couple weeks ago he stole all mine ;).

i get ya on the whole life change thing. i've never been a water drinker either.

I am in LOVE with the CL Strawberry...it has an energy boost added to it! Yumma Yumma. Try it if you haven't already. It only comes in the to-go singles but totally worth it.

That is so great that you've lost 2 pounds just from cutting out diet coke! I have to admit that I'm jealous. I've been counting calories and drinking lots of water and exercising, and have lost about as much as you in the same amount of time. Trying to lose weight is just NO FUN!

Hey Kelly! I read your blogs all the time and have never posted but this grabbed my attention and thought I would share what helped me. I am a recovering COKE drinker!ha! I hate water. After MANY tries and detox headaches....Topo Chico Mineral Water. It is carbonated water in glass bottles. They must be cold and you can put lime or lemons or peaches or whatever in it. IT WORKED! I no longer drink COKE addictively ... I just save it as a treat when I go out!
